Italian actress, singer, comedian, filmmaker, producer and overall public figure. She has appeared in many films, stage productions, hosted performances and directed her own works, cumulatively making a name for herself in the Italian entertainment industry.

She started working in the entertainment industry at age 13. She later studied at the Teatro Blu school in Rome.

Her feminist comedy-drama, There's Still Tomorrow, became one of the highest-grossing films of all time in Italy.

She married Italian director Riccardo Milani in 2011, and the two have a daughter named Laura.

She received the Maximo Award for her portrayal of Maria Montessori in the Italian TV movie, Maria Montessori: Una vita per i bambini.
