ABOUT OYINDAMOLA JOHNSON EMMANUEL

Nigerian singer and composer who rose to fame in the Afrobeat genre. Known in the music world as Dammy Krane, he had an early hit with 2012's "My Dear." He followed that success with his 2015 single "Izzue."

He began singing in a children's choir at the age of six.

He was named Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2012. He shares photos and video clips of his live performances on his dammykrane_worldstar Instagram account, where he has earned more than 550,000 followers.

He is of Yoruba descent. His father has worked as a manager in the Fuji music industry.

He collaborated with Pearl Thusi and Olamide on the 2018 single "Balance Well."
