ABOUT OWEN WHITE

Right-handed pitcher that was drafted by the Texas Rangers during the second round of the 2018 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Carson Public High School in China Grove, North Carolina.

He first began his professional career playing for the AZL Rangers rookie affiliate team. He was later sent to the Texas Rangers Futures.

He logged a career-high 80.1 innings during the 2022 minor league season. Following that season, he was named the fourth best MLB prospect in the Rangers' organization.

He is a native of Mount Ulla, North Carolina.

He and Jacob deGrom have both been pitchers on the Texas Rangers.
