Osita Nwanevu
ABOUT OSITA NWANEVU
American journalist and reporter who is best recognized for his work with The New Yorker as a Staff Writer. He is known for covering both politics and policy and has also been published in Harper's Bazaar, the Chicago Reader, and In These Times.
He attended the University of Chicago where he earned his BA in Public Policy in 2011. He then went on to earn his Master's in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy. He started his career as an editorial intern for In These Times in January of 2013. He then started working for NPR before joining Slate Magazine and later The New Yorker in 2018.
During his last year of school, he was the editorial intern at Harper's Magazine where he fact-checked the Index section and wrote for their Findings blog.
He was born and raised in Woodbridge, Virginia.
