ABOUT ONILOGBO HAKEEM
Professional award-winning makeup artist known for starting his own company Hakeem Effects and for being the CEO of Tricks International, a special effects and prosthetics company serving a range of productions throughout Nigeria and the Nollywood film industry.
He attended Egba Comprehensive High School. He began his career professionally in makeup in 2008 when he started working on Yoruba films in Nollywood. With a lack of formal education and training, he began to develop his own personal styles based on the images in his head.
He has won several awards for his makeup including the Best Makeup Artist award from the AMVCA in 2017 as well as Africa's Best Makeup Artist at the AMAA's in both 2016 and 2017.
He was born and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria.
He is known for having collaborated frequently with famed Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun on a range of different video projects.
