ABOUT OMAR MORENO

Former professional centerfielder that played for the Pittsburgh Pirates , Houston Astros , New York Yankees , Kansas City Royals and Atlanta Braves during his 11-year career. He was twice the National League stolen bases leader during his career.

He made his major league debut on September 6, 1975.

He won his first and only Major League World Series in 1979.

He lives in Panama with his wife, Sandra.

He played alongside Willie Stargell as a member of the Pirates during the 1979 MLB season.
