ABOUT OLIVERA KATARINA

Actress and singer who appeared in the film, I Even Met Happy Gypsies. Her film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 1968 Oscars.

She was brought up in Belgrade.

She was also a singer, and was known for singing traditional Serbian folk songs.

She married theatre critic, Vuk Vuco. They divorced less than two years later, and she had one child with her second husband.

She met Salvador Dali once before performing at one of her concerts.
