ABOUT OLIVER KAY
British reporter who has gained fame for his time covering English football, including for The Times (UK) between 2002-2019. He later joined The Athletic UK as a senior English football reporter in September 2019.
He earned his first writing job in 1998 as a trainee sports reporter for the Nottingham Evening Post.
He released his debut book Forever Young: The Story of Adrian Doherty in 2016. He won the football book of the year British Sports Book award.
He is originally from England.
