ABOUT NORV TURNER

NFL coach who served as head coach of the Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers. He became offensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings in 2014.

He had his first major coaching role as an assistant coach at USC.

He took the Chargers to the AFC title during his first year with the team in 2007 but they were defeated by the New England Patriots.

His brother is Ron Turner , the former head coach at the University of Illinois.

He coached star running back LaDainian Tomlinson during his prime on the Chargers.
