ABOUT NOELVI MARTE

Professional shortstop that was originally signed by the Seattle Mariners as an international prospect in 2018. A few years later, he was acquired by the Cincinnati Reds via trade in July 2022.

He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Mariners rookie affiliate team. After 65 games, he was then promoted to the AZL Mariners.

He recorded a career-high 19 home runs during the 2022 minor league season. He also recorded a new career-high 125 base hits that season.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Cotui, Dominican Republic area.

He was once involved in a trade that also included Luis Castillo .
