ABOUT NICO SáNCHEZ

Rugby union player who has risen to fame for his international career playing with Argentina since 2010, including as the top scorer at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. He has also played club rugby in France's Top 14, including for Bordeaux and RC Toulonnais.

He made his debut in Argentina's national youth system for their U-19 squad in 2007. He later made his pro club debut in 2010.

He was the top scorer for Argentina at the 2014 Rugby Championship. In September 2018, he became the then-top scorer in Argentina's rugby history.

He was originally born and raised in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina.

He and Felipe Contepomi have been the top scoring rugby union players for Argentina's national team.
