Infielder who played for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, and Atlanta Braves from 1983 to 1990.
He was a first round draft pick in 1978.
In 1989, shortly before vertigo forced him to retire, he hit 30 home runs and tallied 108 RBIs for the Red Sox.
He was born in Hialeah, Florida.
In his final MLB season he played on the Braves alongside Tom Glavine .
