ABOUT NEIL LEIFER

Sports photographer, author and social media personality known primarily for his work with Time Magazine and Sports Illustrated. In 1967, he took the infamous photo of Mohammad Ali and Sonny Liston .

The first ever sporting event that he took photos at was the 1958 Super Bowl between the New York Giants and the Baltimore Colts.

His debut sports book titled Dreadnought Returns Baum was published in 1969.

He is a native of New York City.

While working for Time Magazine, he was given the opportunity to shoot a cover with Ed Koch and Paul Newman .
