He endured a rough upbringing and used music as a way to stay on the right track. He started pursuing his rap career at the age of 15.
He suffered a bullet in his head in 2011 and it took three years before he went into the hospital for X-Rays. He used it as inspiration behind his mixtape Here For A Reason.
He was born an only child to parents Angela and Charles in The Bronx, New York, but grew up in East Harlem.
He was cosigned by DJ Jim Jones who also appeared on his singles "Am I Wrong" and "Can't Tell Bout."
