He made his debut for Liverpool on October 31st, 2020, starting in the win against West Ham United F.C .

He is the son of former soccer player Jimmy Phillips.

He joined fellow soccer players Sadio Mane , Jordan Henderson , and Trent Alexander-Arnold on the Liverpool team.
