ABOUT NATALIE ANN YEPEZ
Known as Maluca, she is a musician from Washington Heights whose music has been described as experimental tropical punk, ghetto tech, and hip-house. She released her first single, "El Tigeraso", in 2009, and has been releasing music since as well as touring with her two backup dancers called The Cookies.
Her career began when she had a chance encounter with Diplo while performing karaoke.
In Portuguese, Maluca means a crazy or mischievous girl.
On May 14, 2017, she posted a throwback photo of her mother and grandmother. The caption thanked 'her two moms' for raising her to be a strong, independent woman.
She has collaborated with artists such as Dillon Francis , Robyn and Alvin Risk .
