ABOUT NATALIE SPOONER

Canadian women's hockey player who won a gold medal at the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. That year, she became the first women's hockey player to win both the Winter Games and the Clarkson Cup in the same year.

She began representing Canada in 2007 at the Canada Winter Games.

She competed on the second season of the reality show "The Amazing Race Canada."

Her brother, Rick, played hockey at the University of Wisconsin. She also has a brother named Doug.

She and Kevin Montgomery both played hockey at Ohio State University.
