ABOUT MONTEL MCKENZIE

Model, reality star, and semi-professional soccer player who gained substantial recognition during his time as a contestant on Season 10's summer series of the reality competition show Love Island . He has played semi-professional soccer for both the Ocean City Nor'easters and Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club, the latter of which he signed on with in February 2023.

In 2020, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan University. He began working for Showforce Services Limited in London as a booking and scheduling coordinator in October 2021 and was promoted to account manager in January of the following year.

A video in which he addressed and dispelled rumors that he had cheated on his girlfriend Leah Taylor, which he posted to his montelmckenzie3 TikTok account on August 13, 2023, earned over 1 million views within less than 2 weeks of being shared.

He and Love Island co-star Leah Taylor remained together after they were dumped from the villa on Day 38; however, the couple split in August of 2023.

He appeared on the summer series of Love Island Season 10 along with fellow islanders Ella Thomas , Catherine Agbaje , and Tyrique Hyde .
