British presenter and broadcaster best known for her work on BBC News. For nine years, she was a newscaster for The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2.

She attended Our Lady's Catholic High School in London, England.

In 2001, she was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire for her work in broadcasting.

Her parents are Marjorie Gordon and Harold Stuart. She has two sisters named Sandra and Sharon.

In 2006, she appeared on Ricky Gervais ' television comedy series Extras.
