ABOUT MOHAMED IBRAHIM MOSTAFA
Egyptian internet activist who has focused his work on political reform and human rights through social media.
He earned a B.Eng. from Ain Shams University in 2001 and a M.Sc. in Software Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2003.
He ran the We are all Khaled Said campaign, which centered around a young Egyptian man who was killed by two Egyptian police officers in his home town Alexandria, Egypt and was precursor to the Egyptian revolution of 2011.
His father was an Egyptian Army General and his mother was an accountant.
He helped topple the regime of Hosni Mubarak .
