ABOUT MIRANDA SAWYER

British journalist and broadcaster who became known to the public as a writer for The Observer and The Mirror. She also interviews artists and musicians for The Culture Show and has won a PPA Award for Writer of the Year.

She earned a degree in legal theory from Pembroke College at the University of Oxford.

She authored the 2016 book Out of Time: Midlife, If You Still Think You're Young.

She married actor and comedian Michael Smiley . Her brother Toby is also an actor.

She appeared on a celebrity edition of The Weakest Link which has been hosted by Anne Robinson .
