ABOUT MINJEE LEE
Australian golfer who became the number one ranked amateur golfer in February 2014. In 2022, she earned $1 million for winning the Aon Risk Reward Challenge, a season-long competition across the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour. The same year, she won the U.S. Women's Open.
She attended Methodist Ladies' College in Perth.
In 2021, she won her first major championship, the Amundi Evian Championship. Her golfing talent has led her to amass over 130,000 followers on Instagram.
Her brother is golfer Min Woo Lee. Her parents, Soonam and Clara Lee, moved to Australia from South Korea in the early 1990s.
She beat Lexi Thompson to win the Cognizant Founders Cup in May 2022.
