ABOUT MIKE KRUKOW

Former starting pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies and San Francisco Giants who later became a TV commentator for the Giants.

He played catcher at San Gabriel High School.

His best MLB season came in 1986, when he posted a record of 20-9 with a 3.05 ERA and was named to the National League All-Star team.

He raised a daughter named Tessa.

He was second only to Steve Carlton in wins among pitchers for the Phillies in 1982.
