ABOUT MIHAI PATRASCU
Romanian computer scientist who worked for AT&T Labs and won many medals at the International Olympiad in Informatics.
He studied Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and graduated in 2008.
He was the recipient of the Machtey Award for best student paper at the Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science in 2008.
He grew up in a Romanian family in Craiova, Romania and later lived in the United States until his death from brain cancer in 2012.
Like him, Randolph Braham is a Romanian scientist.
