ABOUT MICK ROCK

Rock and roll photographer known for capturing shots of artists like Queen, Iggy Pop , and The Talking Heads. He is best known for capturing David Bowie during his Ziggy Stardust phase. He took the photos for over 20 well-known album covers.

One of his first photoshoots was with Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd in the late 1960s.

He received the Diesel U Music Legends Award in 2006 for his impact on the music industry. In 2016, a documentary was made about his life and work titled Shot! The Psycho-Spiritual Mantra of Rock.

He married Pati Rock. They have a daughter named Nathalie.
