Multiple award-winning singer-songwriter and guitarist whose debut single "Everywhere" became an instant hit. She also had top-selling albums, The Spirit Rom and Hotel Paper.
Growing up, her parents helped her book local gigs in Sedona, Arizona. Her first independent album was Broken Bracelet.
She won a Grammy Award with Carlos Santana in 2003 for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for her song, "Game of Love."
She was married to her bass player Teddy Landau from 2004 to 2015; they had a daughter named Owen together. She is married to Patrick Carney of The Black Keys. The couple had a son in 2018 and a daughter in 2022.
Branch and Jessica Harp played in a country band together called The Wreckers.
