NHL coach who led the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2008 where they lost to the Detroit Red Wings.

He played three years as a defender in the AHL.

He was fired as head coach of the Montreal Canadiens in 2003, but came back to coach the team in 2012.

He has two children, Elizabeth and Charles.

He played on the AHL's Sherbrooke Canadiens with hall of fame goaltender Patrick Roy .
