Guitarist for and co-founder of the progressive rock group Queensryche who has also participated in projects like Soulbender.

He studied jazz and classical arts at the Cornish Institute of Allied Arts in Seattle.

His nickname is The Whip, a moniker stemming from the speed with which his fingers can move around the guitar fretboard.

His father took him to concerts of various genres when he was young.

Geoff Tate is the singer of Queensryche and one of Wilton's bandmates.
