ABOUT MICHAEL MASSEY

Professional second baseman that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the fourth round of the 2019 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Illinois . In 2019, he was named a member of the first team All-Big Ten.

He graduated from Brother Rice High School in Chicago, Illinois. He was the 13th highest ranked prospect in Illinois.

After going in the fourth round, he became the highest drafted infielder in the University of Illinois' program history.

He grew up living with his family in Palos Park, Illinois. He is one of two siblings.

He once attended the University of Illinois just like Deron Williams .
