ABOUT MICHAEL CARBAJAL
Nicknamed Little Hands of Stone, he is a five-time world boxing champion in the light flyweight class. He won a silver medal at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul.
He achieved a stellar amateur record of 94-9.
He was named Fighter of the Year by Ring Magazine in 1993.
He was married to Sally Carbajal until her death.
He was succeeded by Roy Jones Jr. as the Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year.
