ABOUT MICHAEL AMOTT
Swedish guitarist with the metal band Arch Enemy, as well as Carnage and Spiritual Beggars. He has worked on more than 30 albums throughout his prolific career.
Before Arch Enemy, Amott made a name for himself with groups like the legendary death metal band Carcass.
In 2006, he had a guest voice appearance on the Adult Swim show Metalocalypse. He played with the band Candlemass in 1997.
His brother Christopher also joined him in Arch Enemy.
Johnny Marr and The Smiths are among Amott's musical influences.
