ABOUT MELISSA MARTY

Best known as the 2008 champion of the Nuestra Belleza Latina reality television beauty competition, she also became recognized as the host of several programs on the Galavision, Telefutura, and Univision networks.

After graduating from college with a major in communications, she participated in the 2008 Miss Puerto Rico Universe beauty pageant.

In 2014, she began hosting an Azteca American TV network program called El Coffee Break.

She was born in the western Puerto Rican town of
Mayaguez.

She and actress Cynthia Olavarria both competed in the Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant; Olavarria was the pageant winner in 2005.
