ABOUT MEIBRYS VILORIA

Professional catcher that was first signed by the Kansas City Royals as an international free agent in 2013. He was later signed by the Texas Rangers in December 2021 and then the Cleveland Guardians the following December.

He officially began his professional career playing for the DSL Royals rookie affiliate team. He was eventually promoted to the Burlington Royals.

He was selected to play for the Colombian men's national team during the 2017 World Baseball Classic. Unfortunately, Colombia wasn't able to qualify for the second round after going 1-2 in pool play.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Cartagena, Colombia.

He played alongside Jorge Alfaro and Donovan Solano as a member of the Colombian national team during the 2017 World Baseball Classic.
