Japanese MMA fighter who went 26-3 during her illustrious career. She became just the second mixed martial artist ever to start their fighting career with 22 straight victories.
She was trained by Hiroyuki Abe and, in her first MMA fight, defeated Yumi Matsumoto in forty seconds.
She has numerous accomplishments outside the MMA world, including being a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Champion and finishing as a runner-up in the World Sambo Championships five times.
Her father, Kuniaki, and grandfather, Masaru, were both masters of judo.
Two of her three career losses came against Mexican-born fighter Jessica Aguilar .
