ABOUT MAX ZHANG
Chinese actor, martial artist and former wushu athlete, best known for winning the Best Supporting Actor at the 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards in 2014. He has over 50,000 followers on Instagram where he posts under the handle maxjinzhang.
He began his career as a stunt actor in 2000 in the hit film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon as the stunt double for Zhang Ziyi . He later collaborated with Ziyi as a screen actor in My Lucky Star (2013) and The Grandmaster (2013).
In 2021, he joined the cast of reality TV show Call Me By Fire as a contestant. Recently he appeared in the 2025 drama film, The Old Way.
In January 2008, he married Hong Kong actress Ada Choi. They have two daughters, Zoe and Chloe, and a son nicknamed Fishball.
In November 2024, he posted a photo with his copy of Jackie Chan 's autobiography, I Am Jackie Chan: My Life in Action.
