In December 2020, his wife Brandi Boyd shared audio of what sounded like a domestic abuse incident via Instagram Live.
He has three children named Brandus, Cadence and Sonnet. In May 2021, he and his wife Brandi Boyd welcomed another child. His wife is the goddaughter of Whitney Houston .
He has also ghostwritten for Marques Houston , Devante Swing and T-Pain .
