ABOUT MATTHEW WILLIAMS

Fashion designer most well known for his women's ready-to-wear collection ALYX. He also was the art director for Donda, working with brands like Nike and Stussy and clothing stars like Luka Sabbat and Sarah Snyder .

Right out of high school he began learning pattern-making for denim and jersey. Not long after, he began costume designing for musical artists.

He is a co-founder of the art collective Been Trill.

Both he and his wife Jennifer were raised in California. He named his clothing label after his daughter, Alyx.

He has been the creative director for musical superstars like Lady Gaga and Kanye West .
