Libertarian political commentator, author, and journalist who became famous for his work as editor of Reason, a monthly Libertarian publication.
Prior to editing Reason, he worked for both the Los Angeles Times and Tabloid.Net.
He co-wrote a 2011 work entitled The Declaration of Independents: How Libertarian Politics Can Fix What's Wrong with America. He has been a co-host of The Fifth Column podcast.
He married and has two daughters with journalist Emmanuelle Richards.
He published a 2007 work entitled McCain: The Myth of a Maverick that pointed out several reasons why Libertarians should fear a John McCain presidency.
