He was a founding member of Marianas Trench at age fourteen.
He shared the Juno Award for Group of the Year with his band in 2013.
He began a relationship with model Jessica King in 2010. He was later in a relationship with Nicole Arbour . He grew up with a sister.
He released the Face The Music: The EP with Josh Ramsay in 2013.
