ABOUT MATT WALLNER

Professional outfielder that was drafted by the Minnesota Twins during the second round of the 2019 Major League Draft. Prior to being drafted. He played college baseball at the University of Southern Mississippi . During his junior season, he was named MVP of the 2019 C-USA conference tournament.

Originally, he committed to play college baseball at the University of North Dakota . Unfortunately, UND dropped their baseball program the following season.

He finished his college career as Southern Mississippi's all-time home run leader. He hit exactly 54 home runs during his three years at Southern Miss.

He grew up living with his family in Forest Lake, Minnesota. His parents are Maggie and John Wallner.

He once attended Southern Miss and was eventually drafted by the Minnesota Twins just like Brian Dozier .
