ABOUT MATT MINGUS
Drummer most famous for being a founding member of the Sacramento-based post-hardcore band Dance Gavin Dance . He and the band have won acclaim for releases like Downtown Battle Mountain II (2011), which peaked at #2 on the Hot Rock Albums Chart.
He began playing drums when he was 9 years old. He was heavily influenced by drummers like Abe Cunningham from Deftones.
In 2011, he and other members of Dance Gavin Dance formed the side project Secret Band.
He has sisters.
He and Will Swan are both founding members of Dance Gavin Dance.
