He returned to Jeopardy! in November of 2015 to compete against fellow Jeopardy! champions Jennifer Giles and John Schultz.

His parents are judge Amy Berman Jackson and Darryl Jackson, a lawyer. He grew up in Washington, D.C.

He studied to be on Jeopardy! by reading books by past champions, including Jeopardy! record holder for consecutive wins Ken Jennings .
