He received a B.A. in modern history and politics from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. He worked as a global financial planner. His season of The Bachelor aired in 2008.

On the show, he was known for his charming personality. In his free time, he loves to travel and be outside.

He is married to Rebecca Moring.

He was the first ever British bachelor and second not to be from Northern America, after Lorenzo Borghese. Chris Harrison was the host when he was on the show.
