ABOUT MATT FESTA
Veteran reliever that was originally selected by the Seattle Mariners as a seventh rounder in the 2016 MLB Draft. Since then, he has pitched within the San Diego Padres , New York Mets , Texas Rangers and Cleveland Guardians organizations. In 2023, he was selected to play for Team Israel during the World Baseball Classic.
Prior to being drafted, he attended Dominican University. After one year, he then transferred to East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
He made his official MLB debut while playing against the Colorado Rockies on July 14, 2018. Unfortunately, he lost his debut by a score of 4-1.
He lives along with his wife named Danamarie. She works at Fox News.
He played alongside Steven Kwan as a member of the Guardians during the 2025 MLB regular season.
