ABOUT MATT DICKINSON

Journalist who has gained fame for his career as the chief English football correspondent for The Times (UK). He was named Sports Writer of the Year at the British Sports Journalism Awards in 2000.

He graduated with his BA from Robinson College, Cambridge. He would later gain a master's degree from Cardiff University.

He published his book Bobby Moore, The Man in Full in 2014. He has covered the Ryder Cup, World Cup, and Tour de France for The Times.

He shares two children with his wife Helen.

He has written about Jordan Henderson for The Times.
