Matt Brash
ABOUT MATT BRASH
Professional pitcher that was drafted by the San Diego Padres during the fourth round of the 2019 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Seattle Mariners via trade in September 2020. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at Niagara University.
He officially began his professional career playing for the AZL Padres rookie affiliate team. He was eventually promoted to the Fort Wayne TinCaps.
He made his major league debut pitching against the Chicago White Sox on April 12, 2022 as a member of the Mariners. He recorded six strikeouts in only 5 innings.
He grew up living with his family in Kingston, Canada.
He was once packaged in a trade that included Taylor Williams .
