Famous for his participation in advertising campaigns for such notable fashion labels as Gucci, Christian Dior , and Tommy Hilfiger , Lauridsen is also known for his runway work for John Galliano and Hermes, as well as for his photo spreads for GQ, Vogue Paris, and Vogue Italia.

He began his modeling career at the age of nineteen, initially signing with the Copenhagen-based Scoop modeling agency.

For over two years, he topped models.com's "Top 50 Male Models" list.

He was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark.

He and Nina Agdal are both well-known Danish models.
