ABOUT MATíAS MORONI

Professional centre and winger that was signed by the Newcastle Falcons of the English Premiership Rugby league in June 2022. Prior to Newcastle, he played for the Leicester Tigers for two seasons. During his professional career he has also played for the Argentinian men's national squad.

He first began playing rugby as a child growing up. The first rugby team he ever played for was the Los Molinos rugby youth squad.

He played for the Argentinian men's national team during the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. His team lost to New Zealand 17-14 in the fifth place game.

He lives along with his wife and their son. He is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He was given the honor of representing Argentina at the 2016 Summmer Olympics just like Luis Scola and Andrés Nocioni .
