Screenwriter known for her work with the major studios (Paramount, Universal, 20th Century Fox). She notably served on the faculty of USC from 1994 to 2009.
She did her undergraduate coursework in Fine Arts at the University of Pennsylvania.
She is a member of the Writer's, Director's, and Screen Actor's Guilds.
She grew up in Los Angeles, CA.
She and actress Connie Britton both studied under Meisner in New York.
