ABOUT MARYAM NASSIRZADEH

Designer, retailer, and tastemaker who has become known for her self-titled online boutique. Her own understated fashion has also earned her more than 270,000 followers on Instagram.

Right after graduating from Rhode Island School of Design, she launched a label of one-of-a-kind upcycled t-shirts. The line was picked up by Barneys.

She first launched her self-titled showroom in the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 2008.

Her grandmother was also a designer and store owner in Iran. She and her husband Uday Kak have two daughters, Anais and Lune.

Both she and Tziporah Salamon gained fame as fashion designers.
